New Dates for 4 week Burlesque Course

4 week – Burlesque beginners course 2011

Thursday 10th November – 7.15 – 8.45pm.
(Skip 17th Nov)
Thursday 24th November – 7.15 – 8.45pm
Thursday 1st December – 7.15 – 8.45pm
Thursday 8th December – 7.15 – 9pm
Payment must be made in advance of the course start date. It would be great if I could have all payments in by Friday 14th October. We will give a full refund if the course fails to run.

£60 or £50 each if you bring a friend – You can either pay by cheque or the internet.

The first class begins Thursday 10th Nov- 7.15pm – 8.45pm 2011.

Course Aims – you have a month to get one burlesque dance routine together so here’s a list of things you should be considering now:-
A burlesque name for yourself.
A signature costume – it may have something to do with your name.
A piece of music/song/mix that you would like to use for your act.
Props you may want to use.
Buying some nipple tassels.
What kind of character you wish to portray in your first routine – funny, cute, classic, scary, sexy…..

Class 1
I intend to begin with an intro to bump and grind and tease. We will learn the basic steps of burlesque and learn to tease using gloves and boas.
Please bring heels and comfy clothes.
** If you have any costume ideas – please bring everything with you. Ideally wear it but if you’re too shy – just bring it along for discussion.

Class 2
Choreography, costume, tasseling and striptease.
By this class, I would like everybody to be attending in costume. Please try to buy some tassels from Ebay or Anne Summers. I do have pairs you can borrow but nicer to have some of your own.
Also – I would like it if you had found a song you would like to dance to.
This class will be held in my private studio as we will be discovering sexy striptease moves…

Week 3
Hair and make up, tassel making and watching each others ‘work in progress’ shows. Group feed back on individual routines.
We have a lovely make up/ hair artist coming along to this called Kitty B.
I would also like to see what dances you have been working on at this class

Week 4
Performances, feedback.
By this session, I will be sitting back and enjoying the show – fingers crossed.

After the course finishes, you may want to continue working with myself and your fellow students. If so, we will discuss an intermediate course.

There may be performance opportunities at Sirens, a show I produce in Brighton, but the standard has to be high.
The next show is on Friday 28th October at The Latest Music Bar, Manchester St. Brighton.

The Best Male Striptease show I have ever seen…..

Last night, Sat 30th July 2011, I was lucky enough to see this incredible show. Having been in the world of exotic dance and striptease for almost 20 years, I am always a little skeptical about ’strip shows’. Believe me, I have seen some very bad shows in the past.

But, these guys really know what they are doing. The emphasis is always on the tease. The boys know exactly how long to tease us and keep us waiting for the final reveal. All the boys were exceptionally honed and very well endowed. Two of the guys last night held titles ‘Mr Buff Uk’ and ‘Mr Physique UK’. These hunks aren’t just your average guys. These guys work very hard in every way to please their audience.

Girls, I can honestly say, if you are looking for a fabulous night out for your hen party or birthday party, don’t hesitate to go to The Adonis Cabaret
